The 2006 Syrah is dark and bold with a nice plum color. It is made entirely from grapes harvested from the fog-soaked Laetitia Vineyard, who supplies fruit to numerous high-end wine brands in the Central Coast. Reknown for quality, Laetitia thins their berries to single-clusters to concentrate the grape’s flavor. The nose carries hints of spicy rose and ceder, while the finish echoes of dark chocolate and raspberry.
